How often should I have my water heater flushed or serviced?

We suggest that you get your water heater serviced every year in addition to your heating system for optimal performance.

Why am I running out of hot water?

If you run out of hot water all the time you may have a problem with one or more of the following:

1. There is simply too much hot water demand, too many appliances or faucets on at the same time.

2. Sediment build up inside of the water heater tank.

3. Broken dip tube.

4. You may have a water heater that is on its last leg.

5. A bad water heater thermostat.

Why is my toilet constantly running?

A toilet that runs constantly is most likely due to a flapper. The flapper is the rubber/plastic valve on the bottom of your toilet tank that does not completely seal the drain hole when the tank is full. Open the toilet tank and adjust the float arm. If the water shuts off an inch below the overflow pipe and stops filling, then you simply need to replace the flapper.

Why is my shower pressure low?

If your shower pressure is low when other faucets in your house are running, your household’s water supply is low due to an inadequate plumbing system. If the problem remains when other faucets in your home are off, low pressure is likely due to leaking pipes or patches.

Why is my faucet leaking?

Leaky faucets are typically caused by worn rubber washers that give out over time from the friction of the valve seat. All you need to do is replace the washers to stop your leak.


